Together with her sensitivity to social issues, her sociological training infuses her writing with a critical and kaleidoscopic view of the world. Accuracy and analytical depth, combined with a refined sense of humor and sensibility, are the hallmarks of Handan’s writing. She divides her time between the U.S. and Europe.
